Where can I purchase Travel Associates Gift Cards?

Travel Associates Gift Cards can be purchased from any Travel Associates office within Australia, as well as online via the Travel Associates website.

Where can Gift Cards be used/redeemed?

Gift Cards can be redeemed at all Travel Associates offices located within Australia.

Do I need a PIN number in order to redeem my Gift Card?

Yes, it is essential that you provide the PIN number at time of redemption. PIN numbers are printed on physical and e-Gift Cards.

How many times can I use my Gift Card?

You are free to use this card as many times as you like until the balance is zero. If you do make a purchase that exceeds the remaining balance on your Gift Card, we do allow split payments.

Can more value be added to a Gift Card?

No, once a Gift Card has been purchased the value on it is unable to be increased.

I have not received my e-Gift Card or receipt yet to my email, can this be resent?

Once processed, you should receive your e-Gift Card within 5 minutes to the ‘receiver’ email address. If you have not received this, check your Spam / Promotions folder. If you have still not received your email, please submit a request to gift_cards@flightcentre.com, with details of your transaction to verify.

Is there anything I can't use my Gift Card for?

Yes, there are some restrictions that apply. Gift Cards may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash, Gift Cards, traveller’s cheques, cash passports, or any other form of currency. Please read the Travel Associates Gift Card Terms & Conditions for full details.

Can I exchange, return or refund my Gift Card?

Gift Cards cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded unless required by law. Postage and handling fees are non-refundable.  

If you paid 100% of your booking using a Gift Card, the booking value will be refunded back to a Gift Card for future use.  

If you paid a portion of your booking with a Gift Card, this portion will be returned to the Gift Card for future use. The remainder will be refunded to the original payment method, but the value that was paid using the Gift Card must stay on a Gift Card.

Do Travel Associates Gift Cards expire?

Yes, they do expire; our Travel Associates Gift Cards are valid for use for 36 months (3 years) from the date of purchase.

My Gift Card is lost or stolen?

Once Gift Cards are activated, they should be treated like cash; any lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced or refunded.

My PIN number is lost or stolen?

PIN numbers should be treated like cash. Lost or stolen PIN numbers cannot be replaced. A valid PIN number is required at time of redemption in order for the Gift Card to be redeemed.

Can I cancel my Gift Card order if I order online?

Once an order is submitted online it is unable to be cancelled.

What value can I put on a Gift Card?

In-office 

Any card purchased in office can be loaded with any value between $20 and $4000. ID is required for Gift Cards over $1k issued in-office.  

Online

A Gift Card ordered online can be loaded with any value between $20 and $4000.

How do I order a Travel Associates Gift Card online?

  You can place a Gift Card order online by following these steps:

  1. Select "Purchase Gift Card."

  2. Select the Gift Card design and value you wish to purchase.

  3. Enter recipient details & your message.

  4. Enter your details (name, phone, email).

  5. Choose when to send the Gift Card.

  6. Reconfirm all Gift Card details.

  7. Enter payment details and submit.

Can I order Gift Cards from outside Australia?

We do accept orders globally through our website; however, Gift Cards will only be loaded in Australian Dollars and delivered to Australian businesses and residential street addresses. It is important to note that Gift Cards are only redeemable in Travel Associates retail offices within Australia.

How do I get a list of transactions made with my Gift Card?

The easy way to check your balance and transaction history is to go online and select "Check Balance" here.

What form of payments are accepted online?

Payments can be made using Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We do not accept cheque, cash, or Gift Card payments for the purchase of Gift Cards online.

I entered the wrong email when purchasing my Gift Card, can I change the email address of my e-Gift Card order?

Please email us at gift_cards@flightcentre.com to ensure this is cancelled promptly. Once Gift Cards have been used, they cannot be cancelled.

I’ve been charged twice for 1 Gift Card purchase (I’ve been double charged), what can I do?

Please email us at gift_cards@flightcentre.com with details of your transactions to ensure the team can follow this up for you.

Gift Registry

The Gift Card registry service was closed on 31 October. All current Gift Card registries will be paid out via Gift Cards with an expiry date of 3 years from the date of issue.  

Your guests can still purchase a Gift Card as a gift for you online.
